Terms & Conditions
1. Quotations
1.1 All quotations issued by Lune Blinds & Screens are valid for fourteen (14) days unless otherwise stated.
1.2 Quotations are based on the information available at the time of inspection or consultation and may be subject to change if site conditions, measurements, product selections, or material costs change.
1.3 Any variations requested after acceptance of the quotation may result in additional charges and revised lead times.
2. Orders & Deposits
2.1 A 50% deposit is required to confirm all orders and commence manufacturing.
2.2 No production will begin until the deposit has been received and confirmed.
2.3 All products supplied by Lune Blinds & Screens are custom-made to order.
2.4 Once production has commenced, deposits are non-refundable.
3. Final Payment
3.1 The remaining balance must be paid on the day of installation unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3.2 Lune Blinds & Screens reserves the right to delay installation or withhold delivery if outstanding balances remain unpaid.
3.3 Late payments may incur additional administrative, collection, or recovery costs.
4. Measurements & Site Conditions
4.1 Final measurements will be confirmed by our team prior to manufacturing unless the customer provides their own measurements.
4.2 Customers are responsible for ensuring:
- Safe and reasonable access to the property
- The installation area is clear and ready
- All building works, painting, electrical, and flooring works are completed before installation
4.3 Additional charges may apply if:
- The site is not ready at the scheduled installation time
- Return visits are required
- Installation is delayed due to restricted access or incomplete site conditions
4.4 Lune Blinds & Screens is not responsible for issues arising from customer-supplied measurements.
5. Manufacturing & Product Variations
5.1 Due to the nature of fabrics, natural materials, and custom manufacturing processes, slight variations in:
- Colour
- Texture
- Weave
- Pattern alignment
- Finish
may occur between samples, showroom displays, and final products.
5.2 Minor variations are considered acceptable industry standards and do not constitute faults.
5.3 Timber and painted products may display natural grain, texture, or colour variations.
6. Lead Times & Installation Scheduling
6.1 Estimated lead times are provided as a guide only.
6.2 Manufacturing and installation schedules may be affected by:
- Supplier delays
- Material availability
- Shipping delays
- Weather conditions
- Public holidays
- Unforeseen circumstances beyond our control
6.3 Lune Blinds & Screens will make reasonable efforts to keep customers informed of scheduling updates.
7. Installation
7.1 Installation dates and times are estimates only and may be subject to change.
7.2 Customers or authorised representatives must be present at the property during installation unless otherwise arranged.
7.3 While all care is taken during installation, minor touch-ups, patching, or marks may occasionally occur as part of standard installation procedures.
7.4 Lune Blinds & Screens is not responsible for:
- Pre-existing wall damage
- Structural issues
- Hidden pipes, cables, or framework
- Damage caused by weak or unsuitable mounting surfaces
8. Motorisation & Automation
8.1 Motorised products must be operated in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
8.2 Rechargeable motors must be maintained and charged regularly by the customer.
8.3 Battery performance may reduce over time depending on usage and environmental conditions.
8.4 Smart home integration compatibility may vary depending on third-party systems, software updates, or network environments.
9. Warranty
9.1 Selected products and workmanship are covered under manufacturer and installation warranties in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
9.2 Warranty coverage does not include:
- Normal wear and tear
- Misuse or neglect
- Accidental damage
- Pet damage
- Water or moisture damage
- Improper cleaning
- Third-party repairs or modifications
- Damage caused by environmental conditions beyond normal residential use
9.3 Warranty claims must be reported within a reasonable timeframe after the issue is identified.
10. Cancellations & Refunds
10.1 Orders cancelled after manufacturing has commenced may incur cancellation fees up to the full deposit amount.
10.2 Custom-made products cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded for change-of-mind reasons.
10.3 Refunds will only be provided where required under Australian Consumer Law.
11. Storage
11.1 Customers will be notified once products are ready for installation.
11.2 Storage fees may apply if installation is delayed by the customer for more than fourteen (14) days after notification.
12. Photography & Marketing
12.1 Lune Blinds & Screens may photograph completed installations for portfolio, website, social media, and marketing purposes.
12.2 Customer personal information or addresses will never be disclosed without permission.
12.3 Customers may request in writing that no photography be used for marketing purposes.
13. Limitation of Liability
13.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lune Blinds & Screens shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from:
- Delays
- Supplier issues
- Manufacturing interruptions
- Weather events
- Third-party services
- Circumstances beyond our reasonable control
13.2 Our liability is limited to the replacement, repair, or refund of the affected product or service where required by law.
14. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
